Support Vietnam EREA/MOIT to Conduct a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) of the National Power Development Plan 8 in the Period 2021-2030 with Vision to 2050 (PDP8)

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The overall objective of this project is to provide technical assistance to support EREA/MOIT to conduct the Strategic Environmental Assessment Report (hereinafter referred to as SEA Report) of the National Power Development Plan in the period of 2021-2030 with visions to 2050 (PDP Vlll)*

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The specific objectives are:
1. Rapid assessment SEA report of the existing PDP Vll revised;
2. Develop a methodology for the PDP Vlll's SEA report which includes required input data;
3. identification and measurement of the impact of PDP Vlll on the environment;
4. Assist Vietnam to build a complete SEA report for DPD Vlll
5. Capacity building for Vietnam
