SIPET was developed under the Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia (CASE) Programme, with support from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN).
CASE was implemented by a consortium of eight organisations led by the German international cooperation and development agency, GIZ GmbH. Their contributions helped establish SIPET as a shared knowledge platform for the region’s clean energy transition.
As SIPET moves into its next phase, its resources will continue to support the regional energy community through the ASEAN Energy Database System (AEDS), hosted by the ASEAN Centre for Energy.
