Green Economy Programme in the Philippines (GEPP)
PROJECT OBJECTIVE

GEPP aims to support the Philippines’ transition toward a green economy, including circular economy practices, waste and plastic reduction, energy efficiency, and renewable energy deployment. Under Specific Objective 4, DOE and IFC lead work to increase energy efficiency and renewable energy development in support of climate change mitigation.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

GEPP is an EU-funded interagency programme running from 2023 to 2027. DOE has participated in workshops and meetings under SO1 on circular waste economy and climate change policies, and under SO2 on strengthening circular waste economy practices by LGUs.
