PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ISED II Promotes green employment in the energy sector with a focus on developing human resources (i.e. skills development) in Renewable Energy. Therefore, project will be tapping into one of the high growth potentials of employment in Indonesia in the next decade. The works will be conducted with strong private sector engagement. The skills development will be supported by wide choices of TVET partners that are interested in the cooperation.
In achieving this main objective, the project works on three outputs:?

The private sector is actively engaged in Renewable Energy (RE) initial and further training [i.e. establishment of RE Skills Councils, development of competency standards for occupations in the field of RE in close collaboration with industry representatives]?

The preconditions for labour market oriented initial and further training in Renewable Energy are improved [i.e. labour market oriented trainings and certification of instructors in the field of RE, development and improvement of further training programs in RE]?

Recommendations for promoting green employment in the energy sector are fed into policy making [i.e. drafting of ministerial regulations that promote green employment in the energy sector]
