The activity aims to strengthen Vietnam Electricity’s procurement performance through the application of data analytics.

The activity assesses the electricity and infrastructure requirements associated with semiconductor fabrication and data-centre development in Viet Nam.

The energy component of the project aims to enhance capacities of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in integrating energy management solutions for energy reduction as guided by the Climate Smart Industry Roadmap that will be developed with the Department of Trade and Industry. The project will also support key actors in the transport sector for emission reductions.

The project combines infrastructure investment and technical assistance to improve the management of large hydropower reservoirs through real-time monitoring, supervision and decision-support systems in the Hong–Thai Binh River Basin.

This technical cooperation supports PetroVietnam in preparing a green energy transition strategy that reduces its exclusive reliance on fossil fuels and aligns the company with Viet Nam’s energy-transition and climate commitments.

The main objective of ISED II is to improve the preconditions for green employment in the energy sector. 

The DRM project objective is “the conditions for financing the national implementation of Agenda 2030 are improved in the area of fiscal policy and tax administration.”

SupportCCC II strengthens the Climate Change Commission and other key actors in implementing and coordinating the national climate change regime as well as developing and operationalizing national contributions to the international climate change regime.
