PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The project will develop a 25 MW biomass power plant in Songkhla, Thailand, using rubberwood waste as feedstock, with electricity sold to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under the Small Power Producers program.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project entails the construction and operation of a 25 megawatt biomass power project located in Songkhla province of Southern Thailand. The primary source of feedstock will be rubberwood waste sourced from local farmers, sawmills, and intermediary suppliers located within the project area. All electricity produced by the project will be purchased by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under the Small Power Producers program.
