PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The project aims to deliver clean energy to industrial customers and increase transmission network reliability.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The proposed project aims to support PLN in developing about 950 circuit-kilometer high-voltage (275 kilovolt) backbone transmission lines infrastructures including the necessary substations. This covers 275 kilovolt transmission lines, some connections to integrate the existing 150 kV transmission lines, 275 kV substation, and 150 kV substation. This project will establish a transmission backbone to channel clean energy to the load center in the southern part of Sulawesi, hence increasing electricity demand in this region. It is anticipated that this project will eventually connect to the power system in Southeast Sulawesi in the future.
