The project aims to support the following objectives to align with the Government of Indonesia’s strategic priorities to stimulate investments, accelerate e-mobility, and achieve the country’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets. – Support the Government of Indonesia to enable policy, finance, and roll-out investment projects as part of a green transportation system. – Introduce electric vehicles to promote the transition to eco-friendly vehicles supporting Indonesia’s carbon neutrality goals. – Design and deployment of infrastructure for e-buses and charging stations via a pilot program in Bali Province.
The project will support Southeast Asia government to increase the capacity of implementing policies for reducing greenhouse gas on the basis of advanced experiences (e.g. from Republic of Korea)
The objective of the Accelerating Clean Energy Access to Reduce Inequality (ACCESS) project is to support the poor and most vulnerable communities to have equitable and sustainable access to basic services for improving their livelihoods.
