The Affordable and Sustainable Energy Transition Program supports Indonesia’s energy transition by helping achieve its NDC 2022 and net-zero emissions in the power sector by 2050 through policy reforms. It aligns with ADB’s energy policy and Strategy 2030 priorities, including climate action, gender equality, and governance strengthening. The program follows a staggered policy-based lending approach with multiple subprograms to ensure a phased and effective transition.

The role and function of the pumped storage power plant is storing power in off-peak time at night and generating power in peak time, so it can adjust the balance of supply /demand and reduce the demand difference between peak and off-peak time. In general, PSPP is capable of flattening the load curve

The Affordable and Sustainable Energy Transition Program supports Indonesia’s NDC 2022 and its net-zero power sector target by 2050 through policy measures to accelerate the clean energy transition. It aligns with ADB’s energy policy and Strategy 2030 priorities, including climate action, gender equality, and governance strengthening. Using a staggered policy-based lending approach, the program will be implemented in multiple subprograms to ensure an effective and sustained transition.

This survey comprehensively collects information necessary for examining the direction of medium- to long-term assistance for Vietnam in the power sector. In particular, it will consolidate and prioritize possible support measures from the perspectives of private sector partnerships such as overseas
investment and loans, ODA loans, and technical assistance. In addition, it aims to examine the details of cooperation programs for which assistance can be provided in the short term. 
Main outcomes are following : 
1. To analyze the current status of power & energy sector
2. To analyze the issues caused by RE development
3. To identify and prioritize JICA’s future cooperation

Support the roll-out of wind and solar power technology in Vietnam by providing a top-up to renewable energy developers and IPP.

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in the “KfW Business Opportunities” on issue number 201468032.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received a loan from the KfW toward the cost of Efficient power grids in small and medium- sized cities project - Phase 1, Loan Agreement signed on October 10, 2016 between KfW and Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract on this Project. The Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) (“the Purchaser”) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of materials and equipment of the following packages for the Projects “Project Efficient Power Grids in Small and Medium-Sized Cities – Phase 1” which will be built in Gia Lai, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Quang Binh, Binh Dinh provinces and Da Nang city in central region of Viet Nam
