To support Thailand in effectively implementing a climate-just Net Zero National Pathway (NZNP), with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the industry and building sectors through policy enhancement, capacity building, technology demonstration, and financial mechanisms.
The project aims to develop a full-scale initiative—INET-ZERO—to accelerate GHG emission reductions and enhance nature-positive outcomes in Indonesia’s Energy and FOLU sectors. It promotes a systematic, integrated approach with UNDP and UNEP jointly supporting the implementation under their respective responsibilities.
The ENTREV project aims to reduce GHG emissions in Indonesia’s transport sector by accelerating the adoption of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) through policy development, pilot infrastructure, and EV ecosystem strengthening. It supports long-term BEV market growth and cleaner transport nationwide.
The regional project Ocean Plastic Turned into an Opportunity in Circular Economy – OPTOCE, which is funded by Norad and carried out by SINTEF, aims to investigate how the involvement of Energy Intensive Industries, like cement manufacturing, can increase the treatment capacity for Non-Recyclable Plastic Wastes in China, India, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam and thereby contribute to reduce the release of plastics to the Sea.
Technologies for capturing carbon dioxide as a sustainable resource in Indonesia using microalgae will be integrated and developed, providing a profitable scenario for a carbon-neutral society.
To accelerate the application of innovative cleantech solutions for low carbon and circular economy towards realizing sustainable development in priority sectors in Viet Nam.
The technical assistance aims to support the identification, preparation, and processing of private sector renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia, focusing on countries such as Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, Viet Nam, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
