PROJECT OBJECTIVE

This project supports the development of an 820-kilowatt small hydropower plant in Ifugao Province, leveraging its abundant water resources to improve electrification and diversify energy sources. It also promotes the international deployment of advanced small hydropower technologies from Japanese companies.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Ifugao Province in the Philippines is a region where the household electrification rate is lower than the national average. However, since the region has abundant Sustainable Water Resources Management and many topography with large drops, and is one of the best candidate sites for small hydropower generation in the country, this cooperation will develop a small hydropower plant of about 820 kilowatts in the state. supported. This contributed to policy support for diversifying energy sources in the country. Furthermore, by providing the technology and products of Japanese companies with excellent technology in the field of small hydropower generation, we supported the international expansion of Japanese companies.
