Da Nang Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program

The Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade has initiated this program to promote energy efficiency and conservation in the city. It involves raising awareness, providing training, and offering financial incentives for businesses and households to adopt energy-efficient practices and technologies.

ASEAN Infrastructure Fund (AIF)

The ASEAN Infrastructure Fund (AIF) is a financing facility established by the ASEAN Infrastructure Financing Mechanism (AIFM) to support infrastructure development in the ASEAN region, including the ASEAN Power Grid (APG) initiative. Examples of funding to transmission lines projects that will be part of APG:
1.    Indonesia: Java Bali Power Transmission (USD25 million)
2.    Sumatra Power Transmission Improvement Project
3.    the Brunei Darussalam–Indonesia–Malaysia–Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP–EAGA). 
4.     The Indonesia–Malaysia–Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT)

Indonesia Renewable Energy Development and Support Program - Subprogram 1

Sustainable and Inclusive Energy Program design. SIEP is closely aligned with the government's National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), 2015-2019, the goals of which include (i) expanding electricity access to all Indonesians and increasing per capita consumption from 843 kilowatt-hours to 1,200 kilowatt-hours per year as key goals; (ii) bolstering domestic energy security through expanded production of gas, improved security for downstream oil and oil products, and increased utilization of renewable energy; and (iii) scaling up energy efficiency.

Overall objective:  To promote sustainable agri-food processing and contribute to enhancing waste management in Vietnam by facilitating the adoption of Continuous Biomass Gasification Technology (CBGT) as renewable energy among agri-MSEs

Energy Sector Policy Support Programme to enhance Access to Sustainable Energy in Rural Areas of Vietnam (ESPSP) EU Vietnam Energy Facility

The Specific Objective of the Facility is to help the Government of Viet Nam and key stakeholders improve pre-conditions for universal energy access, utilize renewable energy and increase energy efficiency.
In particular, the Facility will contribute to:
- Enhancing governance of the energy sector to facilitate a shift to a more
sustainable energy development in Viet Nam
- Strengthening the regulatory framework to implement Vietnam’s commitment to reducing the energy-related greenhouse gas emissions, which is part of Vietnam’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

Renewable Energy Program (REP)

The REP will support a pipeline of sub-projects across various RE segments of the market with primary focus on solar and mini-hydro with an aggregate capacity of up to 200 MW. Implementation of these sub-projects will help attract private sector investments to climate-smart projects in Indonesia by demonstrating commercial viability of nascent and heretofore challenging segments, while facilitating market access to commercial financing.

Project Development Programme (PDP) within the German Energy Solutions Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) (Phase IV)

The Project Development Programme (PDP) assists German companies which are seeking to enter emerging and developing countries. The markets there are dynamic and very promising but they also present companies with new challenges, such as political instability, difficult access to finance or a shortage of skilled professionals.

GIZ runs the PDP as part of the  German Energy Solutions Initiative on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The activities are currently concentrated in 16 countries in South-East Asia, south Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
