Improve the capacity of the Philippine government to meet Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) for UNFCCC and domestic climate policy and programmatic decision-making.
The project aims to accelerate clean energy and energy efficiency adoption in Lanao del Sur, supporting the Philippines’ NDC, NREP 2020–2040, and regional development priorities in BARMM. It focuses on expanding renewable energy systems in public health facilities to ensure reliable and affordable electricity, improving healthcare services for around 40,000 households annually. The project also seeks to demonstrate scalable RE and EE solutions, encouraging broader public and private investment in the region.

This project aims to enhance national institutional capacities, enabling policy frameworks, improving technological readiness at industrial level, and financial mechanisms for the successful uptake of clean hydrogen in Philippines, to ensure its net zero development with social considerations and benefits.
