PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The DRM project objective is “the conditions for financing the national implementation of Agenda 2030 are improved in the area of fiscal policy and tax administration.”

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The main partners are the Fiscal Policy Agency and the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance. The project supports the Fiscal Policy Agency to conduct analysis and formulate fiscal policies for increasing tax and nontax revenues as well as effective use of national budget by adopting the green fiscal and sustainable policy approaches. With regard to the energy transition, some studies are currently supported by DRM:

  • Optimizing the role of BPDLH in financing renewable energy development in electricity sector.

  • True price of coal as the basis for calculating the coal fired electricity generation costs (BPP).

  • Impacts of the determined price of electricity generated by renewable energy (Perpres on EBT) on the national energy mix.

  • Multiplier effects of the mandatory biodiesel program on palm oil industries and national economy.
