PROJECT OBJECTIVE

ENTRI (Renewable Energy Mini Grids for South-South Triangular Cooperation) supports Indonesia in decentralized energy and south-south triangular topics. The key idea of this project is maximizing experiences and knowledge available in Indonesia to support other regions that are currently in the process of increasing energy access for their people and at the same time supporting the achievement of global climate goals. For Indonesia, it is expected that the planning and implementation of decentralized renewable energy improves which will result in more sustainable and more impactful decentralized renewable energy solutions.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project has three key outputs: 1.The capacity to plan and implement south-south triangular cooperation within MEMR is strengthened, 2.South-south exchanges of technicians and managers from public and private sector on decentralized renewable energy topics are established with MEMR, 3.The technical and methodological learning resulting from the South-South Triangle cooperation is anchored in the Indonesian Ministry of Energy.
