PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The partnership seeks to bring forward the peak in greenhouse-gas emissions to 2030, reduce peak annual power-sector emissions to 170 MtCO2e, limit peak coal capacity to 30.2 GW and raise renewable energy to at least 47% of electricity generation by 2030.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
To avoid double counting, SIPET records USD 0 for Italy’s pledge, as its separate contribution of EUR 250 million is already included in the overall USD 15.5 billion JETP package (EU reported USD 15.8 billion).
