UTILIZING DIGITAL PLATFORM TO PROMOTE ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND GENDER-EQUALITY IN THE FIELD

For this April’s issue, SIPET Highlights focuses on coal phase-out initiatives, including the Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), reports and perspectives from NewClimate Institute, Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia, the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR), and TransitionZero.

The phase-out of coal will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, and accelerate the adoption of renewable energy in the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

For this March issue, SIPET Highlights provides additional information on efforts to accelerate work on the ASEAN Power Grid (APG). This edition features insights from the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), highlighting the economic case for full inter-regional power trading and power markets. Additionally, we are celebrating International Women’s Month and SIPET’s commitment to fostering inclusive environments in the clean energy sector.
